About Venice Inlet
Venice Inlet connects Roberts Bay and the Intracoastal to the Gulf. Its North and South jetties give shore anglers direct access to moving water.
In the fall, mullet traveling the beaches from the north and schools leaving the local bays both pass the jetties.
Why fish here during the run
- Walkable jetties right over the current.
- Heavy bait traffic draws snook, redfish, and jacks.
- Easy to reach, easy to check before work.

- Watch for bait rounding the jetty tips on the ebb.
- Try the beach just south of the south jetty when schools push tight.
- Crowds build fast on good mornings — arrive early.

- Parking at both jetties; the south jetty has a larger lot.
- Wind and pressure come from the Venice station; water temperature from the offshore WFS C10 buoy, which can lag cooling close to shore.
