About St. Andrew Pass
St. Andrew Pass drains St. Andrew Bay and its arms. The state park jetties on the west side give anglers a walkable platform right over moving water.
Shell Island lies across the pass to the east and is reached by boat or shuttle.
Why fish here during the run
- Jetties put shore anglers directly on the outflow.
- Clear water makes it easy to see schools rounding the rocks.
- Redfish and jacks set up along the jetty seams in the fall.

- Time the strongest ebb after a front; slack water is usually slow.
- Walk the jetty and look for bait showering at the tip.
- Wear good footwear — the rocks are uneven and slick.
