About Sanibel (Blind Pass)

Sanibel's Gulf beaches face the traffic lane for schools moving south from Charlotte Harbor and Pine Island Sound. Blind Pass, between Sanibel and Captiva, is the local exit.

It is treated as a beach station on the map: watch the shoreline as much as the pass.

• Walk the beach early and look for dark bait clouds just off the sand.
